We are educators and alumni of IIT Kanpur. In 2020, we started VEIDA Foundation, an NGO to provide free-of-cost IITJEE training to under privileged students.

In the first year, we selected 27 meritorious students in 11th grade from various government schools in Kanpur and trained them for the 2022 JEE exam for two years. We pooled money from our side to buy stationary and books for the students and arrange for the classroom infrastructure.

Preparing for JEE is no easy task for our students. Lack of quality education in school, sharing workload of parents, surviving in a resource minimum environment, is a normal for our kids. What they lack is compensated by their fighting spirit. They go through rigorous training of around 40 hours of PCM classes per week.

The first batch gave their JEE exam in 2022. They made us proud. All our students were selected in either IITs, NITs or other government colleges.

We decided to continue the program since then. Each year VEIDA’s JEE program contribute towards changing lives of several kids, one batch at a time.

Needless to say, 100% of the contributed money goes towards educational resources of the students. There is no minimum amount to contribute.
